In Architecture, MassArt, Photography, Solar Decathlon, Technology, Video, Volunteerism on September 7, 2011 at 7:49 amThe Solar Decathlon 2011 is the reason why I haven’t updated my blogs since May. As the Team Massachusetts documentarian (Photographer and Social Media Coordinator) I have been following their construction progress in Boston, and at Epoch Homes in NH. I bought an intervalometer for time-lapse photography. This is the most popular of our time-lapses. It’s the assembly of the house modules.
Overload
In Architecture, Events, Gallery Shows, MassArt, Solar Decathlon on February 11, 2011 at 5:45 amThis Spring Semester started-off with returning from NAHB IBS 2011 with our Solar Decathlon team, and working on the usual print and web tasks. Then I had both of my proposals accepted by the MassArt Student Life Gallery, “TEXT” and “Defense”. I was asked to come to the MassArt Freshman fair to represent the Studio for Interrelated Media. Just found out this week two of my proposals to the Children’s Museum‘s May Asian Pacific show were accepted. All the while, I have a full course load in Illustration, Choreography, Beat Research, Studio, and the Team Massachusetts Social Media Posts. Wish me luck (I’ll need it).
Sustainability Initiative
In Architecture, Career, MassArt, Solar Decathlon, Volunteerism on October 30, 2010 at 12:00 pmBecause of my work with the Solar Decathlon, and association with my husband, Seth Holmes, AIA, LEED A.P., I have been invited by the Sustainability Initiative group at MassArt, led by Associate Professor Jane Marsching, to attend a two hour summit in November to discuss the future of sustainability curricula at MassArt.
