I’ve joined Team Massachusetts (MassArt and UMass Lowell) in the Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon. I will be working on the communications committee, mainly on the team’s website, but also graphics, and branding.

Just met with architects Parul Zaveri and Nimish Patel of Abhikram, who gave a very rousing presentation to the architects in my office, Payette, about their Indian approach to sustainable design.

This is my first cross-over encounter between my two worlds: work-life and school life. My professor, Michael Sheridan, is friends with the Indian architects and is the one who asked me to find presentation venues for them. Luckily, Abhikram’s design philosophies relate closely to Tom Payette’s.
